Jericho Farmhouse

You will truly feel like a part of the family when you visit Jericho Farmhouse! There’s ice cream, farm fresh products, fun and more at the farmhouse.

Located just outside of Oldham County in Smithfield, this small, but always growing, ice cream store is such a wonderful place to visit.

If you make the trip out to Jericho Farmhouse, you’re probably going for their ice cream!  They have fresh, homemade ice cream available throughout the year.  Their flavors are always changing, so you’ll want to visit more than once or order the Ice Cream Nachos flight so you can try a few different flavors with pieces of waffle cone.

You can also switch it up by getting an Ale 8 float or cookie ice cream sandwich.  Pints are available to take home, too.  The farmhouse is also home to a small marketplace with fresh produce, flowers, milk and Jericho beef and other meat products.  There are a few other goods like t-shirts, keychains, magnets and other trinkets.

Late summer, you’ll find a beautiful sunflower field during your visit.  The huge sunflowers are stunning, and you’ll be amazed at just how tall they reach.  We love to take photos just at sunset when the field is in full bloom.  You can also snip a flower or two to take home (for a small fee) if you like.

During the fall, Jericho Farmhouse offers tractor rides out to their pumpkin patch and corn maze.  You might also find a food truck set up on the weekend for hot food purchases.  Bring a chair or blanket to spread out in one of Jericho’s fields or sit at one of the picnic tables near the blue farmhouse.  The Jericho Farmhouse kiddos will surely keep you company while you enjoy your ice cream, tractor ride or food truck treats.

The fun doesn’t stop when it gets cold. Jericho Farmhouse still serves ice cream and also celebrates “Ice Cream for Breakfast Day.”  Come dressed in your pjs and enjoy ice cream over donuts and topped with cereal. They are serving ice cream for breakfast on February 3, 2024.

The laid-back atmosphere at Jericho Farmhouse is perfect for enjoying an ice cream treat.  The patio is covered in tractors, trucks, balls, cornhole and other games for all ages to enjoy.  They recently added a natural playground with woodchips, rocks and sand.  The owners want you to feel at home and welcome at Jericho Farmhouse.  It’s easy to catch yourself sitting at one of the picnic tables long after your ice cream is gone.  The open fields, sunsets and quiet are a welcome change to busy life.

Jericho Farmhouse is located at 137 Old Jericho Road Smithfield, KY 40068 Follow them on Facebook to keep up with what’s happening at their farmhouse and business hours.
