LaGrange Trackside Market

LaGrange, Kentucky is rich with history.  Take one look at LaGrange’s Main Street district and you will find historical buildings, an actual Historical Museum and one of the few remaining railroad tracks in the country running through the heart of the city.

Main Street LaGrange offers a glimpse into the past while incorporating present day businesses, goods and entertainment. On Saturday, September 11, 2021, downtown LaGrange will transform itself once again into a Trackside Market.

The Trackside Market will include so many artisans and vendors with handcrafted and hand-picked goods.  Their Facebook event says to expect vintage/re-purposed and hand-created items. We can’t think of a better place than downtown LaGrange to showcase vintage treasures and new creations.  The market tents will be surrounded by beautiful, historical buildings on Main Street, Walnut Street and the courthouse square.

With tents spread out to help with social distancing, visitors can take their time strolling through the market.  Expect to see some of Oldham County’s favorite local artisans set up selling their goods and vintage finds.

Enjoy the live music from 10am-5pm on Walnut Street. Here’s the lineup:

10-12 Matthew Sharpensteen
12:30-2:30 Mike Prather/Allen Lane
3-5 Robby Cox

You’ll probably work up an appetite along the way, so be sure to stop in one of the local restaurants or other businesses for a coffee, treat, meal or glass of wine. Grab a yummy wrap from Red Pepper Deli, a slice of Kentucky Bacon Pie from One Nineteen West Main Street or something special at Main Street Bourbon & Ale House. Many of the businesses will be open for shopping as well.

We hope you will visit LaGrange for this wonderful special event. The Trackside Market runs from 9am-5pm on Saturday, September 11, 2021.  Please support this event along with the talented artisans and professional pickers.  There will be plenty to see and shop.  Street music will be playing to add to the wonderful small town feel, the farmers market on the courthouse sidewalk will also have extended hours.  We can’t wait to see the hand-crafted, one of a kind creations and vintage goods. LaGrange’s newest business is also celebrating its grand opening on Saturday. Be sure to check out Mainly Creative!
