U-Pick Flowers at Ashbourne Farms in LaGrange

Looking for a picture-perfect summer outing? Head to Ashbourne Farms and gather your own bouquet in their beautiful u-pick flower fields.

This summer, Ashbourne Farms is opening up their flower fields on Fridays and select Saturdays, inviting visitors to create their own beautiful bouquets. Upon arrival you’ll receive a mason jar and a pair of scissors before heading into the fields to snip your favorite blooms.

The flower fields are a short walk from the parking lot.  There are a variety of flowers to cut and the fields were planned so that there is always something new blooming and to choose. We loved the variety of sunflowers standing tall along the fence lines, spotting familiar flowers and discovering new blooms.  Wander through the rows, enjoy the peaceful scenery and take your time choosing the perfect mix.

You might hear the chickens or spot the goats begging for a handful of grass during your visit. We recommend wearing shoes you don’t mind getting a little wet from the grass and possible mud.  Visitors can keep the mason jar for an additional $5 or bring their own vessel to transfer the flowers home.  After filling the mason jar with as many flowers as it will hold, the Ashbourne Farms team will arrange your blooms into a beautiful bouquet and wrap it in brown paper for you to take home.

U-pick is available on Fridays July 10-August 28 9am-3pm. The fields are also open on these Saturdays: 7/11, 8/8 and 9/12 9am-12pm.  Each mason jar is $20 to fill and cash or credit are accepted.
