All About Kids Open Gym & Swim
All About Kids in Crestwood is open for Open Gym & Swim on select days and hours. We recently visited after finishing NTI and had a great time!
Let’s face it, it’s been hard this year to find ways to stay active and the cold winter weather doesn’t help. My kids are at computers far too long each day. I was excited to get an email from All About Kids about an all ages afternoon Open Gym & Swim time.
All About Kids is requiring pre-registration for open gym and swim times. It was easy to register and pay online. The website does a good job of explaining mask requirements for everyone ages four and up entering the facility. Once we arrived at All About Kids, our names were checked off of their list, our temperatures were taken and a few general rules and guidelines were explained to us.
Some areas were not open during the all ages open gym time, but that did not stop the fun. The inflatable fun zone was one area not open. My kids were still able to run, jump, balance and more during the two hours. The foam pits are covered by mats, but children can still swing and enjoy these areas. All About Kids also has a Pre-school open gym times for younger children.
Another great option available during the open gym time is the swimming pool. A lot of families were splitting their time between the pool and gym area. There are bleachers outside the pool for parents to sit and watch. There is also an area upstairs that overlooks the pool and gym for parents to sit. All About Kids has chairs spread apart already for social distancing.
Even with new safety guidelines in place, my kids still enjoyed their time playing at All About Kids. As a parent, I felt like All About Kids were taking safety measures seriously while still providing a way for children to be active together.
