It’s hard to believe that Summer’s biggest celebration is almost here! Learn where you can have Fourth of July fun!

4th of July Oldham County- Unfortunately, Oldham County’s largest firework display is not happening in 2021 due to the rising cost for the production.  Learn what else there is to do for the Fourth of July!

Aquatic Center Fun!
The pool is open 1-6pm on the 4th. At 2pm, the John W. Black Aquatic Center will kick off the 4th of July Festivities with fun at the pool!  Activities include:

  • Cannonball Contest
  • Bucket Relays
  • Little Mr. & Little Mrs. Patriotic Swimwear Contest (1-3 year olds)

Admission to the Aquatic Center:
Ages 13-59 $7
Ages 3-12 $5
60 and up $4
Children 2 and under FREE


Firecracker 5k Run! 4th of July Oldham County
Continue the celebration with the Oldham County Parks & Rec Firecracker 5k Run and 2 Mile Walk on July 10th at Shamback Park in Westport, KY beginning at 8am.

Gustavo’s in Crestwood is open (12-9pm) for lunch or dinner and is hosting a fireworks show at 8pm!

Pewee Valley

Hope Church in Pewee Valley is hosting a Summer Blast on July 3rd that includes: bounce house, water slide, obstacle course, food, games and fireworks! 4-10pm

Booms Day Celebration 

4th of July Oldham County- Head out to Prospect for Fourth of July fun at Cowley Park. There’s a parade at 6pm and Swing Street Big Band from 7-9pm. Rollin’ Ruby’s and Kona Ice will also be there.
