Jucy’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Q in Pewee Valley

Jucy’s is located in Pewee Valley right on the Oldham & Jefferson County line. You can’t miss the wood plank and red roof building or the smokehouse flavors. We love the quick service inside where food is plated for diners much like a cafeteria line. The different meat and sides can be seen as you walk down the line and make your selections.
The portions are always generous and the food is delicious. The hickory smoked meat is so tender and flavorful. Diners can choose from brisket, chicken, pork, turkey, ribs, chicken or a daily specials. It’s difficult to make a decision on which sides to pick, so we usually end up sharing a few once we’re seated. We love the potato salad and green beans. The potatoes and onions have a nice kick to them and a kid favorite is the macaroni and cheese. Don’t forget about dessert! One of the side options includes Donna’s Cherry Delight or Apple Delight. You won’t regret trying one of these.
Tuesday is Kids Eat Free all day at Jucy’s. There is always a warm and inviting atmosphere at Jucy’s and we love that they have a Kid’s Eat Free day. Kids can pick a sandwich, corn dog or popcorn chicken and one side and a drink. The staff love to see the kids and have added toys that kids can pick from on Tuesdays.
Along with Kids Eat Free, Jucy’s has daily specials like all you can eat ribs on Monday, .75 cent wings on Wednesdays and more. The drive-thru window makes it very convenient to grab something on your way back to Oldham County from Louisville. Watch their Facebook page for other specials.
There is plenty of outdoor picnic tables where you can enjoy your barbeque and watch a train roll down 146. Or choose to sit inside and look at the unique license plates and other décor on the walls. Whichever way you choose to dine at Jucy’s, you’ll leave satisfied. This smokehouse has delicious food and fast, friendly customer service. Next time you see the bright yellow sign, checkered picnic tablecloths or smell the hickory flavors, pull in the gravel lot and stay for a bit. You won’t regret it!
