The community is invited to go “Up, Up and Away” at Maples Park in Crestwood!

Soar to great heights at Up, Up and Away at Maples Park.  This event is in its 4th year and is a unique opportunity to view The Maples Park and surrounding area from a tethered hot air balloon.

The hot air balloon rides are free and first come, first serve so we recommend arriving early and getting your release forms signed and name on the list.  The rides are a short, tethered ascent above Maples Park, but worth the experience. Feel the heat of the balloon’s flame, wave to friends below and take in the views of the park and Crestwood community.

While you wait for your ride time, enjoy music from Soul Circus, yummy food from the many food trucks or have your face painted.  Maples Park also has a great playground, sprayground and walking path to enjoy during your visit.  We recommend bringing your own chairs or picnic blankets to sit on while you listen to the music and watch the balloon rides.

Up, Up and Away is Saturday, August 17th 6-9pm at the Maples Park in Crestwood.  Maples Park is located at 6826 West Hwy 22 in Crestwood, Kentucky.  Use the gravel lot on the Railroad Avenue side of the park for parking and easy access to the event.
