PowerCore Athletics previously Power Cheer has been training elite cheerleaders since 1996 and our state-of-the-art Cheerleading training center has over 12,000 square feet of dedicated training space within our 47,000 square foot All About Kids sports facility. PowerCore Athletics is one of the largest, best-equipped cheerleading schools in the Midwest.
Our cheer classes vary on different levels and are based on skill not just age. They start with beginner levels doing back walkovers, back handspring drills and back handsprings with a spot, intermediate jumps and motion techniques. And can progress through some of our most advanced levels doing jumps to standing back tucks, layouts, whips, bounder tumbling, roundoff back handspring fulls/double fulls and standing fulls. We have a class for every level!
PowerCore Athletics has competitive All Star Cheerleading Teams that compete locally and nationally and train at our Louisville location. Our half year teams are perfect for those athletes who have other commitments such as school cheer or other sports! The season is about half the length of our “full year” teams. We also offer showcase teams at our Oldham county location!
