Emerge Escape Rooms in LaGrange
Emerge Escape Room is the newest entertainment to hit Oldham County. We enjoyed checking out Emerge on its opening weekend.
On Main Street in LaGrange, friends, families, and colleagues can enjoy a 60 minute adventure. Solve clues and puzzles to accomplish your mission and escape the room. Emerge would be great for a teen or adult birthday party, family event, or a fun date night.
Emerge is in a converted house, and you park in the back. We missed the sign the first time and drove by it because we were looking for a parking lot – currently it has a gravel lot in the back.
Up to eight people can go into the room at a time with 15 minutes between each group for them to reset the room. Currently, there is only one room open, with a second room under construction and expected to open in September. You can book your experience online.
The “sets” in the room we were in were very well done (they included two bursts of artificial fog, so be aware in case anyone in your group has breathing issues). Some of the features didn’t work perfectly, as it was the grand opening weekend, and they’re still working out some bugs. But we were monitored the whole time and they responded promptly if anything didn’t happen as expected.
We enjoyed our experience at Emerge Escape Rooms. With only two of us working the room, we didn’t quite escape in time, but that didn’t take away from the fun we had trying to escape. We liked this escape room as much, and better, than other escape rooms we’ve tried around Louisville. It’s a local family business (a mother and her two sons) and it felt good to support a local, small business. We’ll look forward to going back soon for the Zombie Apocalypse!
