Red Pepper Pizza

Red Pepper Deli in Crestwood has expanded its space and added a new section to their restaurant! Red Pepper Pizza is now serving takeout pizza, calzones, wings, salads and more.

Red Pepper Pizza is a new addition to the popular Red Pepper Deli in Crestwood. The small pizzeria is still in its soft opening phase, but is taking orders for carryout.

Some of the pizzas on the menu are similar to the sandwiches and salads available at Red Pepper Deli. Pizzas like the Pesto Chicken and Yew Dell Veggie will remind patrons of items found on the deli side of the restaurant.  There are also several unique specialty pies that beg to be tried. Check out the Hot Brown and The Dragon on the menu below.

Our family tried the Margarita Pizza, a plain cheese and specialty build your own pizza. The Margarita pizza had fresh basil and the balsamic drizzle was delicious. The pizza we built had three favorite toppings and a cauliflower crust. The cauliflower crust is a little extra and only available in larger pizza sizes. There is a gluten free option too. We all commented that the sweet tomato sauce and fresh toppings make the pizza stand out from other pizzas we have tried.

Red Pepper Pizza also offers chicken wings, salads, breadsticks, loaded fries and cheese bread.  My son loves chicken wings, so we added on the buffalo wings to our order. Some other wing options are honey garlic, garlic parmesan and a Cajun dry rub. Because the restaurant is new, some of the menu might change overtime depending on popularity.

I had to go back a few days later to try one of their calzones. Oh my goodness! The supreme calzone I picked up to go was so good.  The veggies were all fresh, the dough amazing and of course, the sweet tomato sauce was yummy once again.

Red Pepper Pizza is located next to Red Pepper Deli at 6401 Claymont Crossing Ste 4 in Crestwood. They are open seven days a week and orders can be placed over the phone by calling 502-709-5522.
