The Meadow House Fall Festival

Tucked back in the woods, in LaGrange, is a sweet little farm named The Meadow House.  The Meadow House welcomes visitors to their farm for their annual Fall Festival.

We added this outdoor event to our fall bucket list after visiting The Meadow House last year.  It’s a great family-friendly festival for everyone.

This year’s Fall Festival is on Saturday, October 23, 2021 11am-3pm. The festival has a list of activities to enjoy while you’re there. Be sure to grab a ticket for the free hayride.  First come, first served tickets are available for 11:30am, 12:15pm, 1:00pm, 1:45pm and 2:30pm.

The animals certainly are a festival favorite. Some of the animals you’ll find in the pen and coops are goats, a cute pig and chickens. Last year, there was feed available to give them a little treat.  We hear there are some baby goats this year to love on too.  We got to try a small cup of goat’s milk and purchase some goat milk products to take home.  Other vendors and artists will also be set up during the festival.

Other fun, free activities during the festival include a bounce house, pumpkin painting and face painting.  The activities are spread out on the great lawn for all to enjoy.  Be sure to grab something to eat from the grill and sit and listen to the live music (starting around 12/12:30pm).

Our family loved exploring the hiking trails and packed rain boots to do a little creek stomping.  Once we were back to the festival, we of course, enjoyed roasting marshmallows around the firepit for s’mores.

We hope you’re able to attend The Meadow House Fall Festival this year!  The Meadow House is located at 4155 Stewart Lane LaGrange, KY 40031.  The rain date is Sunday, October 24th.
